Starting to think about the landscaping for this development. @hillwoodandco created amazing plans earlier this year. @conceptsconveyed transformed the designs into inspirational 3D images. Now to find a team to turn my visions into reality.
The landscaping, gardens and wider areas of this development are vitally important to a successful scheme. These houses are down a no-though country lane, very quiet, few vehicles and the peace and tranquility of the countryside is all around you. I wanted the development as a whole to be cohesive but each property and garden to have their own theme and design board.
Pond Barn has a lovely corner plot and the largest garden. Directly outside the sliding doors is a large patio, enough space for dining and relaxing. A path heads due south to the decked area with a pergola for height and interest. Of the decked path is another path leading you to the ecology gardens via your own private gate. The views from the garden are over the ecology meadow and adjoining farmland. Uninterrupted southerly views.
Meadow Barn, has a statement centre feature. A square patio, with planting, and trees to offer shade and seclusion. Plenty of decking for dining and relaxing, and feature pergolas draw the eye to the ecology gardens beyond. A gate with direct access to the ecology gardens leads to more gardens to explore.
Grey Feather Barn, the end property has a lovely end garden, with a large patio leading from the dining area, large feature beds and pergola feature, and a path drawing you down to the ecology gardens.
The ecology gardens beyond, have a wildflower meadow, native shrubs and trees, tussock grassland for small mammals and reptiles to live. Hedgerows for birds and wildlife to use, and bat and bird boxes around the site to help us live side by side with nature.
The fish pond is well stocked with mature fish including Common carp, Mirror carp, Ghost and Grass carp as well as a some Roach.
With a simple fishing rod, and always ensuring the safety and supervision of children and the welfare of the fish, try your hand at fishing in the well stocked pond. Children under the age of 13 do not need a fishing license, children 13-16 years need a licence but they are free, and an adult licence cost £30. Please check with the Government website to find more details and how to purchase a licence. There are fines for fishing without a licence.
